In addition to mountain hiking we are active in skiing, kayaking and climbing the Via Ferrata.

In 2019 we walked the Haute Route Pyrenees, HRP, through the Pyrenees from The Atlantic to the Mediterranean. This hike was 780 km and we spent 34 days. In total there were 23,5 km and 1420 meters of altitude on average during the 33 days we walked.

After this thru-hike we have completed the GR5 through the French Alps, 580 km in 2020 in 22 days and the Via Alpina Yellow from Trieste to Oberstdorf, 790 km in 32 days in 2021. Most overnight stays were made in tents on all these hikes.

In 2023 we completed our NPL sections-hike on ski. NPL stands for Norge på langs, Norway lenghwise some 2700 km. We used ski and sledges and pent half of the nights in a tent with temperature down to -30 C.  We use the Easter holidays for this.

April 16, 2022 we started our Pacific Crest Trail, PCT thru-hike in the USA. It is a 4260 km long trail which starts in California, on the border with Mexico and ends in the north on the border with Canada. All accommodation was in tents. Inger had to leave the trail after 2000 km due to back issues. Bjørn continued the hike north and reached the Canadian border on August 28, after 135 days.

Inger has been retired since 2020 and has been active and hiked all her life in all seasons.

Bjørn retired in the winter 2022 and has also a long experience in the mountains and has written 5 guide books.
